Sakala has been published since 1878 and will celebrate its 140th anniversary on the same year the Republic of Estonia will celebrate its 100th. Sakala was the most innovative and boldly expressive newspaper in Estonia. Today, Sakala brings its readers the latest news from Viljandi County and elsewhere in Estonia and Europe. Sakala is published five times a week – from Tuesday to Saturday.
